    It is F/Lt Eric Lock, DSO, DFC & Bar. He met his end on 3 August 1941 failing to return from a Rhubarb and is on Panel 29 on the Runnymede Memorial.

    Flight Lieutenant Eric Lock at Hornchurch in 1941, with the Station mascot, Binder, and wearing a highly-prized German schwimmveste, doubtless a souvenir taken from a vanquished foe.
