    Gents

Alan Close's death is registered in Kings Lynn where L1458 is said to have crashed. His crewman Karasek L baled out unhurt.

The third member of the crew of L8687, the pilot O'Brien, abandoned the a/c, two crew members, King-Clark C (who was struck by a prop whilst exiting the a/c) and Little D, perished. These two deaths are registered at Newmarket. The a/c is said to have come down at Fulbourn to the east of Cambridge.

Warner's Blenheim. Plus War Torn Skies, Cambridgeshire where the incident with L8687 at Fulbourn is ascribed to L1458, ZK-X of 25 Squadron (sic) altho' it has the correct crew O'Brien, King-Clark and Little.

A verdict was returned that he committed suicide at Scarborough between June 9 and 18 by shooting himself in the head with a shotgun. Lawrence Edmund Crossen, a corporal fitter, in evidence, said that Bulman gave no indication of intention to commit suicide. He was of a quiet disposition. He was on sick leave with a broken wrist at the time.
