    Default 1180s from Hendon

Hi All, Has anyone that has ordered 1180s recently been waiting longer than 2 months? I ordered 5 and got the usual automated reply, but have heard nothing since. Oddly a friend ordered 4 and received them within 7 days. Regards Dave.

I ordered (well, asked for) a couple of Form 78 movement cards at the end of May and they were emailed over just under a month later. Not bad, considering.

As Pete says, maybe send over a gentle reminder...

    Regards

I asked for copies of Form 78 and Form 1180, if they exist, for a single Blenheim IV by serial no.
Sent on 17 March, by email to the askcollections address at rafmuseum.org

I've had no reply to date.

I'm still waiting for copies of plans I ordered in 2018! RAF100 got in the way then.

Lancaster Bombers sets of Form 78
    https://www.lancasterbombers.net/for...ovement-cards/
    and Form 1180
    https://www.lancasterbombers.net/for...-record-cards/
are indeed a commendable contribution to a/craft movements and fates: but for selected bomber types only.

For example, for these bomber types:

Hawker Audax: none in Form 78s, none in Form 1180s
Hawker Hind: none in Form 78s, none in Form 1180s
Bristol Blenheim, all Marks: none in Form 78s, none in Form 1180s.
Bristol Beaufighter, all Marks: none in Form 78s, none in Form 1180s.
de Havilland Mosquito, all Marks: Form 78 Movements only.

And no fighter, army co-op, etc etc at all.

A commendable effort, directed to the site's purpose. But hardly "most".

I was thinking mostly Bomber Command, and yes it is a very commendable effort.
