    Default Flight Engineer Training

Can anyone shed any light on what the following course might have been for:

110 F/F course 19/05/44 04/09/45, the course was conducted at No. 4 School of Technical Training.

Secondly what the I.J.T.L. was at RAF Melksham in 1945

    Many thanks

    Daz

110 F/F course has to be 110 F/E, as in Flight Engineer course. You may have mis-read the service record print.

Many thanks, makes perfect sense, looks like an error by the clerk as it if definitely FF on his record. Just the second part to work out. He is there for a course and gets a result of 50%.

    Thanks

    Hi Daz,

Can't answer the IJTL conundrum, but there are some useful Melksham websites with interesting photos:

    Unofficial RAF Melksham
    RAF Melksham Facebook
    Me163B at Melsham

Not much help, but may be of interest!

That IJTL at RAF Melksham has brought up no clues what so ever. I even considered that it may be No.1 JTL, the I often gets confused with a 1 in these forms, but there is still no record of a JTL.
