    Default Two AFC Citation lookups - R. A. H. Smith/J.A.C. Karran

Could someone help me locate the AFC citations for Squadron Leader (then Flight Lieutenant) Ronald Austin Hedgeland Smith (46120) awarded on 1945-06-14 and for Wing Commander John Arthur Christian Karran (37185) awarded on 1944-01-01. I don't know much about R.A.H.Smith but I do know that Karran was CFI at 26 Training School in Pietersburg, SA.

As one is a New Years Honours and the other a Birthday Awards list I very much doubt you'll find any citation, these are usually in AIR 2 in list form with little other than name, rank and number.

The recs should be there in the Air 2 Files, although I don't have these particular ones. You may wish to try Hugh Halliday.
