Default RNZAF Officer Harvey Colin O'Loughlin

This NZ man was a SSC 1930 RAF #29021 but by 5th July 1932 as a result of GCM he dismissed as F/O and returns to native NZ Aug 1932 as an “Officer”

He then turns up in RNZAF in WW2 and finally in 1960 with I believe a MBE ? If reading this right ?

Can anyone supply his RNZAF history from commission service number and end ? Thanks Paul

Just to say that I have additional information on Harvey O'Loughlin in the RNZAF. Despite his inglorious exit from RAF, he ended up as a Flight Commander, and I think personal pilot to the OC No. 1 (Islands) Group, located at Henderson Field (Guadalcanal), flying Hudson aircraft in 1944/45. Also a great story teller who could hold his (usually very young) audiences spellbound as he regaled them with ripping yarns of his early days in the RAF! Some of these tales may even have been true! I will get back on this later as time is pressing on me at the moment.
