Default Any information on Sgt`s Edward Sykes & Alan Horton both RAFVR

Hi All, I`ve hit a brick wall trying to find info on these two airmen. So any help greatly appreciated.

    Sgt Edward SYKES 1623032 RAF(VR)
    Sgt Alan HORTON 1398572 RAF(VR)

Both were involved in the accident of Sunderland W6010 at Allerton Farm, Ross & Cromarty on 27/7/44 but survived the accident, as did all the others, discussed on this board before. I found info on the other crew but I can`t find anything on these two and wonder if they had served in a squadron prior to arriving at 4 ( C) OTU? Or perhaps went on to a squadron after they finished with the unit? I think they were both either W/Op & AG or AGs.

    Regards
    Dave.

    Dave,
No luck with Edward Sykes – except Forces War Records gives that number/name and an occurrence date of 1941.
