    Default 59447 David Livingstone Moore,

59447 David Livingstone Moore, formerly of the RCAF, was commissioned in the Royal Air Force, 8 August 1947. I find no mention of him in the London Gazette after February 1948 (no retirement or transfer) and suspect that he died in the service (either flying or other accident). Can anyone enlighten me as to this man ?

I'm really struggling to find anything on ancestry.com or FindMyPast.

Nearest I can find is David Livingstone Theophilus Moor (no 'e' at the end, and possibly Taylor rather than Theophilus...), b. 1890 in Northumberland, UK, but moved to Canada in about 1905 and died in Edmonton, Alberta, date unknown.

Could be related, could be a complete red herring...at least there's a Canada connection!

    Regards
