    Hello,

No.1 (MIDDLE EAST) CHECK & CONVERSION UNIT. Check p.191 in the quoted reference.

    Bertrand/Col,
    Tks.
When I first joined the Met Office (at RAF Wittering) I was inducted into all the various places on the RAF camp that I might have had to go to.
I was taken to the Eng Wing hangar (Met did things with winds, pressure settings, and compass swings, etc, etc).
Over, and above, the OC Eng Wing's office was a notice which said (in "cod" Latin) "Ubendum Wemendum".
    Good motto!!!
