Default No.112 Squadron expert sought - Robert Frank LAVACK

This is a continuation of an earlier thread re No.37 Squadron and Robert Frank Lavack. Is there any information to confirm his presence in No.112 Squadron in the summer and autumn of 1942 ? Les Allison wrote that he was, but Allison was far from infallible. am reasonably certain that he was on fighter aircraft at that time, but the identity of his unit is uncertain. Owing to Covid I cannot access the books by Chris Shores covering the North African campaigns.

The ORB states that 1027207 Sgt Lavack R. was posted out of 267 Sqn on 31 Oct 42, so I'm going to suggest that it is rather unlikely he was on the strength of 112 Sqn in the autumn of that year, but who knows?

Hugh you may know there is a quite substantial website for 112Sqn http://raf-112-squadron.org/index3.html Lavack is not listed on there and he is not listed in "Shark Squadron" by Robin Brown.
