No, it is not too early.
I would join you. And particularly to wish all those who will be On Duty over the Xmas season (especially the 'Medics' in the current crisis!) as quiet a time as is possible. Those of us who have worked shifts will know what is is like to spend a long, solo, double-shift on an airfield Met Office over Xmas with no company but for the occasional RAFP (and his dog!). And the box on the wall 'ticking', with every so often a voice saying "This is the Bomber Controller. Ops Normal". That's history!

Meteorology is a science; good meteorology is an art!
We might not know - but we might know who does!
Merry Christmas everyone and let's hope the next year will be better than the last two

Compliments of the Season to one and all, and many thanks for the interesting topics that have been covered during the year. The really interesting ones are those which have lain dormant for many years but are suddenly resuscitated by a family member who finds the forum during research. With best wishes for the next, and hopefully improving year.

A very Merry Christmas to all! I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped me on my various requests and projects. I won’t expose these unfortunate individuals 😏 as some keep a low profile and wish to remain so, but you know who you are, and thank you so much for your help.

Thanks to those who helped so generously in 2021. It’s a great thing to be part of this community, especially in these constraining times.
Stay safe and have a Merry Christmas.
