Hi,

This Spitfire tipped on its nose landing at a Brussels airfield, caused by a burst tyre.

Did this happen at Evere or at Melsbroek airfield ?

Who was the pilot + which unit ?

Hi Luc,

Air Britain RAF serials says it was at Melsbroek while on charge with Fighter Command Communications Squadron.

Checked the orb of this Squadron (AIR 27/2353), this accident is not mentioned.
