RIP Murray - what a lovely book that is - looks great on my bookshelf.
Very nicely written autobio.
salute from baz
Blue skies Murray.
He was over in London on several occaisions in the late 1970s when A Thousand Shall Fall and also Fall Of An Arrow [the CF-105] were published.
I wish I had just phoned him out of the blue. That’s how I got in touch with dad’s last two surviving crewmen. I regret not phoning Murray Peden. For those who have not read his book, just go out and get it. You won’t be able to put it down. Uproariously funny one page, frightening the next and tragic on the next page. It is the finest book on the Bomber Command experience I have read.
