Default Posting to 19 Group, September 1941

Recently viewed the logbook for a pilot who records a “Posting to 19 Group”.

He then flies Magisters, Tiger Moths, a Monospar, Lysander and Master, centred on RAF Roborough in Devon.

Am guessing that 19 Group didn’t have its own support aircraft in name and that there was an associated support Flight.

Can anyone confirm what the structure was and the name of the unit operating these aircraft?

Edit: I did find this from an archived page on RAF Roborough but it doesn't address the war years in terms of 19 Group:

‘Even after the Second World War had ended Roborough continued to be used by military aircraft. Number 19 Coastal Command [sic] used it as a communications centre, with Anson's and Auster's, Oxford's and Prentice's,…’

    TIA

Robert, I would thinkg it would be No. 19 Group Communication Flight formed 5.2.41 in Roborough.

See your mailbox for more details.

Thanks for the speedy reply, Pavel.

So Iíve learned there were Group communication flights.
