Can I ask if anyone has a Find My Past Subscription ?

I wish to see what is held for the following individual

A Stephen Mottershead with the above details travelled from UK to the USA along with a number of confirmed RAF members - under 'Government Official' in early 1941 - No Stephen Mottershead can be found in Air 78 and I wondered if his British Army, Royal Engineers 1900-1949 reveal anything ? thanks Paul

Paul this is all there is as far as I can see on the WW2 page. There is another Stephen Mottershead b. 10th month unreadable 1919, living at 11 Cleveland Street Birkenhead, occupation warehouse checker/labourer.

Just to add to the mix - browsing through Air 78/114 there's an S. R. Mothershead 193941. There's also an Eric Mottershead 2210659 in amongst the Mothershaws and Motherhills.

We are now sure the person we are after was Sgt Stephen Mottershead who was in RAF (no Air 78 entry Service Number unknown) who was Flight/Engineer on B-17 Ferry Flight to UK in AN518 on Mar 19 1941 . Stephen Mottershead born Birkenhead 1916 is on a US Immigration Entry to Seattle from Canada as Govt Official
