    Default Mystery Photo

In the Special Forces Club they have a photograph which they cannot identify and is on the attched link http://www.raf-lichfield.co.uk/mystery%20photo.htm.

He could have been an agent or a member of a Special Forces Squadron. From the ribbons can any member make any suggestions as to who this is.

Make sure there is no dot at the end of the link.
    It should work then.

Cammaerts? Although the double parachute winged "Wings" escapes me - as does the insignia under the row of "greengrocery". Looks like RAF Uniform - but from which non-UK bit of the RAF escapes me!

    Nice one!

    Chris,
if the photo will be in higher resolution, we can easily recognize the medal ribbons and the list of medals may help to identify your man.

BTW have you checked what is on his button? Is it RAF button?

Well the wings are Parachute Regiment ones. The first medal looks to be a DSO I've noticed that old B&W photos seem to "invert" the medal colours a bit).

The photo is not mine but I have requested a copy at a higher resolution - hopefully I will be able to post another.
Thank you all for your replies - the smallest detail could help to solve this one.

Chris, just the high resolution picture of the ribbons part + button will be enough.

Hello everybody - I have now succeeded in getting a higher resolution image. The link to the main photo is the same plus additional photos of enlarged medal ribbons and button.

I hope we may have better luck with these
