Alex,
That is because the database was set up to automatically link to serials in TNA records.
As AIR81/3537 was wrong, so was the database.
I have now corrected the TNA and CWGC links to show the correct aircraft.
Andy
Thank you Col, sadly too late for me to correct my first post.
However this forum's database has - Demon K5685 -

K9805 was the other aircraft involved in the mid-air collision: https://discovery.nationalarchives.g...ls/r/C16687638
It survived to be SOC in April 1945.
Laws was flying P9564
There were three crew on this aircraft, as covered by Paul McMillan here:
http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/sho...883#post138883
The serial of the Blenheim involved has still not been resolved. Refer to my post at: http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/sho...581#post158581

Hello Andy, Yes I should have checked FCL vol 1 which does give LAWS with P9564 :(
Hello Andy,This is quite odd as CWGC and the papers show that Major's date of death was the 3rd September. 1940.
See my 400909 - Unaccounted Airmen - 03-09-1940 post, there was no response re Major .
