    Default RE138 Lancaster I 101 Squadron Melsbroek airfield (Belgium) 10 May 1945

    Hi,
    RE138 was one of the 4 Lancasters which was damaged at Melsbroek airfield (Belgium) on 10/05/1945 during operation Exodus. It was cat A damaged during a collision on the ground with NN799 Lancaster of 460 Squadron.

    Looking for the full names and service number of the crew of this plane : F/O. J.D.McIntosh (RCAF J41836, pilot), Sgt.F.E.Bunn, F/O.C.E.Brown, Sgt.H.Yates, F/O.M.A.Long (RCAF J41551) and P/O.M.C.Anderson (RCAF J45444).

    None was injured.

    Luc,

    Your F/O C.E. Brown was also RCAF. Service number was J41499.

    I don't know what the "C.E." stood for as he was known as Peter and came from Toronto.
