RAF Staff College Courses, 1942-47

Is anyone able to advise the dates of the RAF Staff College war courses between 1942 and 1947, please?

I think...

War 04 was in 1942 (???)
War 10 was in 1943
War 15 was ca Jan 1945
War 16 was Sep 1945
War 17 was ca Mar 1946
War 18 was ca Oct 1946

...but I'm not sure, though I am seeking clarity of dates over course numbers.

Any direction would be appreciated, please.

Hi Steve,

A/W/Cdr Karel Mrazek DSO DFC has attended the RAF Staff College between 24 May and ? Aug 1943 but the course number is not known to me.

Hello

I copied their ORB but only for 1940, as one of my research subject was posted there at that time. It's in AIR 29/527 at Kew.
First course (War) commenced on 5th October 1939 and was completed on 2nd january 1940.

Second course (war) commenced on 22nd January 1940 and was terminated on 12th April 1940.

Third course (war) commenced on 7th May 1940, and was discontinued on 27th May, because of the attack on the west.

So it looks a course lasted about 3 months.

Appendix is in AIR 27/528 and has course pictures, with dates.

7th War Course : 27th October 1942 to 14th January 1943 : comprised S/L Alan Deere, W/C Denys Gillam and W/C Peter Townsend.

16th War Course : 1st September 1945 to 7 February 1946. Free French Cdt Olivier Massart was part of that course, as well as Cdt Brohon, and a familiar face and name in that course is "Bunny" Currant.

Can't give you more than this, but the two references at Kew will fulfill your needs !

However, I am seeking dates for the RAF Staff College (Andover, Bracknell & Bulstrode Park), rather than the RAF (Cadet) College at Cranwell.
