I think it is 1352M L1447

If the month and squadron in the write up are correct then it's L1559, Sgt H R Gunn.

but you had that 7 years ago

This is the response from the IWM, looking for the Form 78s for the two Hurricanes and the accident card for L1559.
We have the form 78 for L1559 but L1995 is missing from our scans. Can anybody help?

Many thanks for your email of 3rd May regarding a possible error in one of our photo captions, it is very much appreciated. My apologies for the delay in responding to you; recently, our enquiries system underwent an overhaul and this unfortunately had the effect of many enquiries being left in limbo for several months.

In order for me to amend the record for this photograph, I would be grateful if you could share the research by Air-Britain members confirming that the Hurricane in the photograph is indeed L1559. Do you by any chance have copies of the Form 78 Aircraft Movement cards for both L1995 and L1559 and the Form 1180 Aircraft Accident card for L1559 that you can share? If not, I can consult the RAF Museum. I have no reason to doubt Air-Britain members but in order to make such a change I will need to see the official Air Ministry documentation.
