Forced landing, engine failure No.1 Air-to-Ground Dutson Range, Victoria.

Hello,
I've got queries around some accidents which involved RAAF Demons.
A1-50 while serving with 3 Sqn was victim of an accident on 14.12.39. The crew on board was made of P/O Miles and LAC Haug. Does anyone know the first names and service number of each one?
A1-14 was victim of an accident on 11.04.42 (3 BAGS). The accident card gives LAC B.S. Freize as observer with service number 404900. However this service number is not good, and there is no B.S. Freize recorded in the RAAF records. Any clue?
Many thanks
Phil

Air Force 'Plane Down.
Air Force 'Plane Down.
forced Landing at Belbora.
A Hawker Demon 'plane, flying
north in company with several
others, met with a mishap yesterday
morning. When over Belbora, about
6 o'clock it was seen to be in trou
ble. It circled the homestead of Mr.
W. P. Easton's property on the road
side, narrowly missing the- house,
carried away the whole of the tele
graph lines along the main Highway
and landed in the gully at the foot
of the hill.
Although the machine appeared to
be badly damaged the two pilots es
caped, almost unhurt, receiving some
scratches and bruises.
The carrying away of the tele'-,
graph and telephone lines cut off all
communication with the north, but
the linesmen from Gloucester had
communication established again by
10 a.m.
An Air. Force tender passed
through Gloucester about 10. p.m.
last night for the scene of the acci
dent.
