Default F/Lt Jack Hardy Taylor RAFVR 123032 shot down incident August 1944

    Hi All,

    Can anyone help please.

I am working on airmen on our local war memorial and the obituary for F/Lt Taylor`s loss on 28.2.45
states that in August the previous year he had been shot down over Normandy and hospitalised for a few months,
but I can`t find any reference in Fighter Command Losses book for this incident. He was either flying a Hurricane IV
    or a Typhoon 1b.

Please note I have all the details for his loss in February 45, it is just the shooting down in Aug 44 I am interested in. Thanks.

    Regards
    Dave.

    Thanks Mojmir,

The details on the other squadrons will be a great help in searching through the ORBs.

    Best Regards
    Dave.
