    Can anyone ID this individual - His name is against the following - Bu I cannot ID from the PoW Database on this lost 0- His name is on Find My Past PoW list but no Service Number is listed in Search results - may be in actual record but I can't see that he may not be RAF of course it sat F/Sjt

    Hello All,

    552507 is in Block 550000-558000, highest 554207, RAF Boys, from 01-Sep-34

    Airspeed Oxford Mk.I PH242 of No.21 (Pilot) Advanced Flying Unit crashed on Hay Bluff (GE 52.016223 -3.100155) near Hay-on-Wye on the 7th January 1946 while on a training flight from Wheaton Aston (they were in a Warm Front, with 20kt S’ly wind, 7C 100%, and lots and lots of low clag. What were they doing down at 2000ft one might ask???).
