Meteorology is a science; good meteorology is an art!
We might not know - but we might know who does!

Hi Paul,
Bell, Saunders and Schoefield were all lost with 224 Squadron when their Hudson N7248 crashed in the North Sea on 31 August 1939.
Saunders had the S/N of 590825.
There was a crew of three only because most or all Hudsons at that point in time did not have the turret fitted, and did not carry the Air Gunner.
Details from the F.1180, the 224 Sqn. ORB (AIR 27/1383, prewar) and the AIR 78 name card for Saunders.
A lovely little project !
Regards,
Martin.
