PG583 - 11 PAFU(Pilots Advanced Flying Unit) - SOC 23.6.45.
PZ749 - Sold 8.3.46 for Iran.

More research me thinks !
These flights can maybe give some ideas of where the two planes were based:
PZ749 was flown from Silloth to Cosford on July 15th 1944 by ATA pilot Cholmondley.
PG583 was flown from Cosford to Silloth on May 25th 1944 by ATA pilot Milstead and from Gosport to Hawarden on November 4th 1944 by ATA pilot Baines.

Thanks, they both flew into North Coates on September 23rd 1944 en route to Leuchars. The North Coates ORB doesn't indicate where from and why they landed or indeed the unit they were attached to, unless of course another ATA delivery flight
