    Default ATA Accident

    Hi all,

    Can anyone give me any further information regarding an aircraft accident involving an Anson I, N9987 on 5th June 1944 being flown by an ATA pilot?

    5/6/1944 Anson N9987 CFL Longbridgemuir Farm, Ruthwell, Annan, Dumf. I have not found any fatalities in connection with this.

    Thanks DaveW for the location of the accident.

    With the risk of sounding stupid, what does CFL stand for? Something to do with forced landing perhaps?

    Does anyone have crew details?
