    Alex,
Although CWGC and AIR81/4283 both state 21 Nov 40, these four men were lost on the night of 19/20 Nov 40, as confirmed by:
AIR27/480/25 49 Sqn summary, which records that eight aircraft were put on standby on the evening of 19 Nov 40, with five taking off, and one failing to return. No operations took place on (the nights of) 20 or 21 Nov 40.
AIR27/480/26 49 Sqn record of events, which records that the aircraft took off at 0019 on the morning of 20 Nov 40.
Our database already had the correct date:
    http://www.rafcommands.com/database/...php?uniq=X3024
I have added more to the remarks to explain the issue.

They were the crew of He111H-2 3145/A1+GM of 4./KG53. It collided with Spitfire P7387 of 603 Sqn (also listed).
According to Kracker, Huber is incorrect, as the other three crew were:
    STIEGER, Wilhelm
    VOLKMANN, Bruno
    HAGSPIEL, Artur
The aircraft exploded after crashing which resulted in two of the casualties never being found. The other was presumably buried as HUBER.
