    OK I see what happened the Deltiel, Sec. Lt. L. R - should be Deltiel E. L. R so what is Holmes

    I think it is 2nd Lt Herbert Holmes 28 October 1918

    Once I sorted out the initials it was easy

    Trade: Pilot
    Death in R.E.8 (no serial). Date 27 Oct 18. Cause: Combat. Others in a/c – 2/Lt H. P. Turnbull killed (below)

    Turnbull, Sec. Lt. H. P. R.A.F Herbert Philip 27 Oct 1918 – 42 Squadron (Killed in action. NB: DoD corrected from 27 Oct 18 to 26 Oct 18)
    Death in R.E.8 (no serial). Date 27 Oct 18. Flying with 2/Lt H. E. Chaffey (above)

    CoI is on the back of this card and refers to the other a/c involved as piloted by 2/Lt Edgar Taviner with F/Cadet E Lloyd

    McAlpin, Sec. Lt. D. D. R.A.F Donald Davis 28 Oct 1918 – from USA

    Birth 9 Feb 1894 Warren, Warren, Pennsylvania, USA

    Died [C4692 Bristol Fighter] Collided in air with BF E2550 (Eng WD18400) and crashed into sea. FCdt AE Johnson presumed
