Default American DFC awards to Non-Americans, Korean War

Is anyone aware of a book about American DFC awards to non-American personnel during the Korean War ? I am interested in a South African, Everitt Murray Lance, who flew with No.2 Squadron, SAAF, later served in the RCAF, and still later joined the RAAF, only to be killed with that force in Vietnam.

Not exactly a book, Hugh, but have you seen https://samilhistory.com/tag/everitt-murray-lance/. You'll need to scroll down quite a way to reach this paragraph:

2nd Lieutenant E.M ‘Lofty’ Lance, for his actions in Korea became the 23rd South African to earn the American DFC (Distinguished Flying Cross) in Korea (out of a total of 55 South African pilots to receive it) and the American Air Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters – a brave man indeed.
