These three airmen were killed during an Air Raid on Sheffield when the Marples Hotel collapsed. A fourth airman died on the 13th.

HILL, James - Air Fitter - S/FX.458 - HMS Formidable - ADM 104 records that he suffered a fractured skull after being struck by an airscrew during flying operation.

As stated in AIR81/4543, this was a Tiger Moth. Correct serial was T5422.

Marston was flying V7510. P3870 was the other aircraft involved, which landed safely. It was later converted to Sea Hurricane Ib, and lost in Apr 42.
