Default RAF Airman Death April 1937 "Henry Arthur Valentine Armstrong"

I have a record that "Henry Arthur Valentine Armstrong" of RAF died in April 1937 - This maybe a mis read of St Danes Register

However I cannot find ANYONE of that name dying in April 1937 nor can I find a RAF Service number for a "Henry Arthur Valentine Armstrong"

I also checked Scotland and Armed Forces Overseas

HOWEVER there is a Henry Armstrong aged 20 who died in Medway in Qtr 2 1937 and he has the following burial record

    Henry Armstrong
    Record Type: Burial
    Birth Date: abt 1917
    Death Date: abt 1937
    Burial Date: 10 Apr 1937
Burial Place: Manchester, Greater Manchester, England
    Cemetery: Southern Cemetery

    who maybe

I also have a Henry Armstrong as 535378 or 537316 or 845268 as possible on Air 78

It is possible that someone was baptized under a different set of names than Birth Registered

    a couple of

H A Armstrong can be discounted

    H A Armstrong 74026
    Henry Ainsworth Armstrong

    H A Armstrong 311264
    Hector Arnold Armstrong

    NO H A V Armstrong anywhere

All Henry Arthur Armstrong x2 on Ancestry for right age can be discounted as died after WW2 (one born 1889 died 1952 one born 1901 died 1969)

    Paul

Maybe an odd suggestion, but could he possibly be mixed up with L.A.C. Henry Arthur Valentine Davies of 11 F.T.S., killed in a plane crash in December 1936, and reported in several newspapers at the time? He was from Bournemouth.

Odd co-incidence with the three Christian names being the same.

    All

Thanks for all your help - yes you have all collectively solved it - The Christian Names of Henry Arthur Valentine Davies was mixed up with Henry Armstrong on the source of my records

It is good also to get confirmation that Henry Armstrong was in fact RAF and to get a cause, rank and date of his death - thanks Ross..

    Davies was 15 December 1936 580285
