Default problem with pilot ID and Spitfire ID from database, casualty pack (AIR 81) and CWGC

    Hello

The database has the following entry http://www.rafcommands.com/database/...php?uniq=BS114

based on the AIR 81 files.

Trouble is that BS114 is not a Spitfire Mk V, but a Mk VI, lost on 16 April 1943 with S/L P.W. LEFEVRE http://www.rafcommands.com/forum/sho...8651#post48651

I also wonder about Sgt Keans, as I couldn't find him in the CWGC registers...

Son of Robert and Helen Elizabeth Kraus, of Paddington, London.

I wonder if he used the name Keans to sound less 'German' in event of capture

    Hello

    Thanks Paul and Dave !

A typo from one digit for the serial number, but the change of name was trickier ! I had found Kraus on the CWGC through a search by date, but without Keans' service number to compare with, I didn't make the connection.
