He is down as L Wilcox 366445 on the F1180 but has history with that airframe, being listed as L L K Wilcox (no number) on K3513 of No.56 Sqn 18/9/35.

All on 30 January 1936 a 56 Squadron Bulldog IIA K3513 piloted by Sgt L Wilcox was wrecked in forced landing at Bran End roughly 7 miles WNW Braintree, Essex --
Marshalls Farm, Stebbing also quoted so probably a field on Marshalls Farm, Bran End, Stebbing, Dunmow Essex
I wonder if anyone can ID Sgt L Wilcox - the 56 Orb is no clue, though ne named as Sgt L Wilcox a few times and no one of that name fought in BoB
Current theory is possibly
Laurence Wilcocks 549192
Leslie Leonard Kennedy WILCOX 366445
But happy to be proved wrong on both accounts
Thanks
Paul
