Bell,21, registered at Louth,Lincolnshire, the right area for N Coates

Thanks Dick; assume no matches to the proposed losses.

The proposed a/c are too far away. Sawbridgeworth is in Hertfordshire a county just North of London, Alton Barnes is in Wiltshire near Upavon, where CFS was based at the time. Barkston Heath was a RLG for Cranfield which is in Lincolnshire, but you already have a connection with N Coates for Bell and I think a Barkston death would be registered at Grantham

    Blenheim IV - N3595

I have this as going down at Barmston, near Bridlington after force landing after engine failure, no pilot info though.

    F/Sgt (Obs) Donald BELL - 754922 - 86 Sqn (North Coates, Lincolnshire),
he seems to be listed as Sgt D Bell and was Killed in Action (WHILE FLYING IN OPERATIONS
AGAINST THE ENEMY) (not a wounds listing)

    AC1 William H. GOODWIN - 1053525. is a DOAS listing in Aug 7th magazine

    Thank you Simon,
So killed by enemy action, probably by ground forces or an a/c strafing the Vehicles ?
