    Default F/Lt. J.D. Cunningham 421 Squadron 25/03/1945

    Hi,

Returning from Patrol Operation No.127/9 to the Winterswijk – Dorsten area the engine of his Spitfire XIV SM239 cut during the approach to his base, Kleine Brogel B-90(Belgium) and F/Lt.Cunningham had to make a crash landing, just outside the field at 13h00. He was slightly injured.

Looking for additional details about this pilot , sa full name and service number.

    Many thanks and best regards

    Luc

    Hi Mojmir,

Many thanks for your reply. This is certainly a possibility.

Checked the orb and the appendices (AIR 27/1828 and AIR 27/1829) and the Canadian Heritage file C12295 and couldn't find his full name, service numebr and when he joined and when he left this Squadron.

    Best regards

    Luc
