Have you considered that the poster of #12 may have made a typo in his answer?
Anyway as I can't get to the answer without buying some credits, I'll leave it there...

Post #12 gives the source of information as Register - this is open to view via credits online at Scotlands People.
What is in Air 81/7085 to dispute the date and time recorded in the Death Register.
If you are going just by the transcribed file title have you considered it may have been transcribed incorrectly or that it was the date the file was opened after being reported.
