Default 162 Squadron Maryland crash F/Lt Dickinson

I am trying to identify a Maryland of 162 Squadron that crashed. It carried the squadron
letter Y, and I think Edward Dickinson might have been the WO or AG. He was later a F/Lt
however I am not sure what he would have been when the aircraft crashed.

I know it's a long shot, but any help would be great.

    Hi Johnnie,
Are you sure about the Sqn and/or the a/C type? According to Jefford's RAF Sqadrons. 162 never flew Marylands. They did have Baltimores from Oct'43-Sep '44 but otherwise they flew a mixture of Wellingtons, Blenheims and Mosquitoes in the W Desert, the ME, Malta and Cyprus.

Woops. My mistake. It is a Baltimore rather than a Maryland. Sorry
