    Hi Henk
I see David beat me to it!! but I must add that Bilston,in S Staffordshire is a long way from Stoke -on -Trent which is N Staffordshire, about 35 Mls. It would be right for the Botha accident. Halfpenny Green was an airfield SW of Wolverhampton and part of the Bilston registrarion area

    Hello

P/O Cyril E.R. SANDERSON - 63242- the National Probate Calendar records that Cyril Edward Russel Sanderson died at Quarry Road, Strandtown, Belfast.

AC2 Cyril N. SMALLWOOD - 1094979 - the Lancashire Evening Post of June 30th 1941 reported the following:

    AIRMAN DROWNED AT MORECAMBE
A young R.A.F. man, Cyril Smallwood, whose home address is Bowden Street, Stoke-on-Trent, lost his life during a visit to the swimming stadium at Morecambe and Heysham yesterday.
He was swimming in the stadium, when he was missed by his friends, and shortly afterwards his body was seen in the 15ft. deep end of the bath. It was seen by P.C. Cooke, who was swimming in the bath and who dived from the high diving board to recover the body. Artificial respiration was applied until the arrival of a doctor, who pronounced life extinct.

    Regards

    Simon
