    Default Hart K5799, 7 FTS - 17 Aug 1940

    An eatlier thread pointed out the Sgt D Duncan and E W Osbourne were killed flying Anson L7907 on this date. However, the above aircraft was also lost on that day with two fatalities and had originally 'penciled' in these two as the casualties.

    So if they were in the Anson, who was killed in the Hart?

    There's a fairly recent thread in which this aircraft is mentioned. Haven't figured out how to link to it but it's dated 15th August and titled "Harvards crashed 1FTS 1939". Crew names are given in post #3 as Culley and Irvine and there's further information in subsequent posts.
