    Default Unaccounted airman - 25-1-1941

Checking CWGC-registers with my database again found an airman's name missing in my files. What was the place of death registration for:
    AC2 George W. ROBINSON - 1210950 - age 34.
May he too have been a casualty of an air raid on St.Eval ?
    Regards,
    Henk.

    Henk,
His name is not among the 22 recorded killed on 25/01/41, or on any other date, in the St Eval Book of Rememberance.
    Regards.....Alan.

    Hi Henk
I could only find 2 George Robinsons(no W) that seem to fit the bill. One age34(same as CWGC who also have the W) is registered at Bridgenorth,Shropshire and the other age 42 is registered at W Hartlepool, Co Durham. The Robinsons that had the W on the register were all too old.
    Regards
    Dick

Now this is interesting as i have an unknown casualty at RAF Bridgnorth, whose ORB records "one death" in the January 1941 medical report. So it looks quite possible that Robinson was 'my' man.

    Cheers, Tom

To close the loop, he is listed DOAS in Fligth Magazine Mar 6th 1941, with serial number
    A/C.2 G. W. Robinson, 1210950:

Thanks Dennis. Just completed all CWGC registers on UK and Irish Republic. Made a new start checking all registers for France.
    Good weekend and regards,
    Henk.
