Default Ernest Willy Rosenstein, 185 squadron

Hello friends, i'm investiganting about a suspected Spitfire crash site, not far from Noceto (west of Parma, north italy). On 2 April 1945, a Spitfire of 185 Squadron went down in the same area, killing the pilot Ernest Willy Rosenstein. Anyone know if really Rosenstein was in ops in this area? Thanks

85 Years of the SAAF gives his aircraft as Spitfire MH892, with no location. However, the Spitfire file gives the crash date for this loss as 12th April 1945. Maybe a typo in the Spitfire file

Air Britain has for MH892: 185 Sqn - Caught fire during bombing dive and crashed "2"-4-1945.

    Default Wrong date...

Thank you Henk, 2/4/45 must be the right date.

    Someone know where Rosenstein died?
