    Default Asrmcu

I am trying to find out any info I can on my late Father in laws service on ASR during the war. If any body can steer me in the right direction I would be very grateful. We have his service records and know that he served with 66, 48, 10, 29 and 27 ASR between 1943 and 1944.

If you can identify any particular RAFHSL then the RAF Museum, Hendon holds the vessel movement card.

    Riojaron, Hi,
I note that in the Daily Telegraph Letters on 6 Nov there is one from a John Leech, the Hon Sec of the ASR/MCU Club, from Beccles, Suffolk. I suspect he may be the J W Leech, Beccles, listed in the BT fone book.
Might be able to give you some "steers"!!!
