Default WW2 RAF Transport Losses Book

I got a flyer from Colin Cummings (Nimbus Publishing) who has written a series of books on post ww2 RAF losses. His new book will be published on 1st February 2009. The title of it is "Through Without Anger". It lists over 1000 transport and special duties aircraft lost through accidents or enemy action.

It also lists assault gliders lost in training and occasionally in action are also noted (including those irrecoverable after flown into action)

The book is 630 pages and the layout is like his other books.

The price will be £22.00 plus £3.00 and will be available from the author. I do not have his email address but the address is

    Nimbus Publishing
    October House
    Yelvertoft
    Northampton
    NN6 6LF

If anyone is interested the cheque should be payable to Colin Cummings

I am not connected to this book in anyway.

Thanks for the update Paul. I've only just gotten around to buying LAST TAKE-OFF: RAF Aircraft Losses 1950-53 so this is a handy addition

    Default Though Without Anger

My copy arrived by post today. Based on a quick perusal it contains much useful information. In my opinion an ideal Christmas present

Also enclosed was a note from Colin regarding his forthcoming book "Category Five", which will be basically an amalgamation of "Lost To Service" and "To Fly No More" with extended coverage to 2008. (Both of the earlier books are no longer in print).

Colin will also be offering the new accident information (but not the updates) on a CD. Also a special discount will be offered to those who already have the current volumes.

All profits will go yo the RAF Museum and the Assault Glider Project Trust.

I should say I have no commercial interest in these books.
