Default MU locations and 58 Squadron post-war

Looking to confirm the locations for:
    274 and 37 MUs circa 1946
    9 MU in 1948
    19 MU in 1950
Also like to confirm if 58 PR Squadron was at Benson in 1952 followed by Wyton the following year.
    Many thanks:
    Robert

    Robert,

58 Squadron were reformed 1 October 1946 at Benson and remained there until 31 March 1953 when they went to Wyton

    RAF Squadrons - Jefford.

    Hi Rob
From "Flying Training and Support Units since 1912"- Ray Sturtivant and John Hamlin, not an easy trail to follow but ,
9MU seems always to have been at Cosford until 1956
19 MU seems to have been at St Athan but had facilities at Yatesbury
37 MU was a USAAC Facility from 1942 but reformed as RAF on 15.8.46 at Burtonwood
247 MU formed 1.10.45 as an A/C Storage unit at Swannington
If you can, get a look at the above source p175-, it should be available through a Library, or via Air Britain who publish it.
    Regards
    Dick
