    Greetings Rich,

I suspect your Ludderham could well be (North) Luffenham: see http://www.raf.mod.uk/bombercommand/s76.html.

    Rich,

No. 31 Base was formed within 3 Group at Stradishall on 26/4/43. It was numbered as 31 Base on 16/9/43 but redesignated as No. 73 Base at North Luffenham, where it controlled among other units, No.1653 HCU, 1/11/44. It disbanded 1/8/45.

No. 32 Base was formed at Mildenhall on 1/3/43, also within 3 Group. It was numbered as 32 Base 16/9/43 and disbanded 15/11/45.

    Hope that helps.

    Laurie.
