Hi Andy
Not exactly what you want, it is a profile and not a photo, but seems to be in ME Colours based at Kabrit
Look at http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww2/o/586/9/0/10. It is from a Russian Site that has an English version

Dick
Does anyboby have a good photo of a Miles Magister when being used as a Squadron hack.
Idealy the photo would be 1942-1943 and based in the Middle East/Western Desert.
I have seen several examples of training versions but am sure the hacks would have been painted in the camo scheme relevent to the theatre of operation.
I am in the process of having some aircraft profiles done and need a reference photo to base the profile on.
Thanks
Andy

A good start,
However I would like to know if the undersurface would have beed yellow as shown or painted the tropical colour of Sky(Azure) blue.
Anyone with any ideas on this?
Andy
Hi Andy,
Actual (Howard Levy) photograph of Magister P2378, can be seen here :-
'Middle East Exiles'
Aeroplane Monthly
March 1976
(Vol.4,No.3)
p.125
Sorry, no scanner.
Yellow undersides? Hmmmm...
Regards,
Col.
