    Hi Malcolm
Welcome to the board; good to speak to you again.
Actually, I refer to your site often for the information it provides, but I often have problems with the menus on the lefthand side (and I know others do, too); maybe something to do with Java applets, or something? They don't appear, or won't without error messages.
    Cheers

    Hi Malcolm,

I have posted on this forum some time ago my question that I have a problem with you site - it frozen up and I need to restart my browser. As Steve wrote, I was thinking the same way - Java. I have made the last update of Java on my computer and now it is working OK.

Anyway if you would like to add any info about Czechoslovak airmen with the RAF please feel free to contact me

    Hi Malcolm:

The address you gave appears to go to your old site. The latest is: http://www.rafweb.org/index.htm

I also had all sort of problems with the menu and links in the Quick Menu. Seems sluggish and slow to refresh too.

    Best regards:

    Robert

    Hello Malcolm,

I find the site most useful but often wonder why there is no search facility. Would it be possible to have a search facility? It sometimes takes a while browsing for the answer. Thank you

    Hi again, Malcolm:

This last time the site froze up my browser and eventually the computer. I'm no expert but it seems to be a Java-related issue.

I'll see about updating my Java.

    Regards:

    Robert

    Default java update

Just go to http://www.java.com/en/ and get the latest version for your machine.

Thanks. I did later think of that solution, downloaded and it definitely helped view Malcolm's site.

    Hi All

    Thanks for being kind.

I think you are correct about Java and even I can't see the buttons in one browser, although a Java update today seems to have improved the speed of response. However, I have added text links further down the navigation panel.

I'm currently considering changing the navigation buttons back to plain graphics during the Christmas holidays.

As for a search facility, there is one available in the members area, I'm afraid I had to do it that way as making it public would have circumvented the members area.

    Malcolm
