    Default AFM Citation

Does anyone have or know how to get the citation for the AFM awarded to 335871 Sgt (Pilot) CHarles Albert Deakin, which I believe was awarded for Palestine in 1936/37.

    thanks in advance

Alas, I have no more than the following:

Thank you both for replying. I now think that he was awarded the AFM for his actions in a tragic accident whilst he was flying with 10 Sqn on 19/02/36. I have posted the same request on the British Medal Forum website and got a reply with a copy of Flight Magazine which shows another Sgt and two LAC's being killed and Deakin slightly injured.

    thanks
