    Default Bucklitsch 26 July 1943

    Hello all !
Good to be back on the new 'old' board again. Hope the bad guys (spammers etc.) keep away definitely !

Can someone tell me if sgt. Bucklitsch (Lanc JA855, 26th July 1943, Elsendorp/Cleefs Wit estate) is still alive ? I do not have any further personal details about him.
Is there a General Questionnaire available or other info concerning his capture in occupied Holland ??

    Thanks very much !
    Cheers,
    Hans

If he was living in the UK then he is no longer resident. There is no J.M. Bucklitsch listed on www.192 and no deaths for him in England and Wales for 1984-2004.

He might have died earlier than 1984. There are only 9 persons with that surname currently on the electoral roll.

    Hi HansO
Sgt James McIntosh Bucklitsch was my father. He died in 1971. We have some info, tho not to hand, on his capture. He was turned in by a local german origin farmer. He refused to testify against him after the war when the farmer was accused of collaberation.

    Why are you interested?

    Regards
