Default Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year

Wish you and yours a merry Christmas and a very happy New Year.

Jeg ønsker hele familien en glædelig jul og et godt nytår.

Before William Shakespeare introduced the word Christmas, jul was a wellknown word for this festival in Great Britain.

Thanks for having the chance to be among so many WW II aircraft interested people on this board.

    Default Yuletide greetings

I guess it still is, Finn, only the spelling has been Anglicised. You Vikings left your marks here!
[We also use Xmas. This sounds a bit lazy but, I read recently, X was used by Christian leaders centuries ago, the "X" representing Christ on the cross.]

We reciprocate your good wishes to you and your loved ones in Fyn.

"Tack detsamma, hoppas ni får en trevlig Jul och ett Härligt Ny År."

And I wish all those in the Emergency Services, and the Military, etc, who will be On Duty over the festive season, a quiet time.
